Started off as a zbrush sculpt I came up with.

Then I 3D printed it in PLA, I had to split the model into two pieces in zbrush because of the size of the printer. After that I put a coat of epoxy on the model to smooth it down and fuse the two sections.

Then the painting began, this is a layer of filler primer.

Then I put tooth past on the areas I wanted to stay silver and achieve a paint chipped look.

Then you take a rag and rub off the paint where the toothpaste was applied.

Then the fun part! Weathering it all up to make it look old.

I then sewed some fabric strips to put it all together and achieve a medieval predator esque look.

I decided I wanted to make a medieval looking mask for a renaissance festival I was attending with a bunch of friends. I came up with the design and sculpted it in Zbrush. From there I split it into two parts to the fit the print bed and 3d printed it. Then the fun part of painting it all up so it felt old and worn.
